how to use Poser 4, which will be described in class. Manuals
are also available in room BE 109.
This assignment can be used to counteract late days, or just to
give you extra assignment points. If you complete it all successfully,
it will be noted in your narrative evaluation.
Assignment Requirements:
For full credit on this assignment (50 points), fulfill all the
conditions listed below. For half credit (25 points),
fulfill the requirements
for figure 1 and create all the demonstration files.
Figure 1
-
One figure must be created with a library person and include
library hair, face, and expression.
-
Animation of this figure must include joint changes and
changes in facial expression. The motion must be coordinated and
meaningful, not just random jerkiness.
Figure 2
-
Another figure (animals are fine) must be in the scene and
move in relation to the first figure in some meaningful way. E.g.,
figure 1 could ride on a horse figure 2, or figure 1 and figure 2 may
be talking or dancing.
Figure 3
-
Another human figure must be animated by designing a walk
with the walk designer. This figure must have a prop, such as a hat
or a walking stick or a ball, that is parented to it and that is
part of the motion.
Files to Submit:
-
Two rendered images of the scene must be submitted from
different camera angles and with different lights.
-
One animation file (.avi) must be submitted with at least 60 frames.

The Poser data file must be submitted.

directories used for the assignments.
