will be given Fridays at the end of lecture beginning October 2.
Due to the November 11 holiday Quizzes 7 and 8 will be on the following Mondays
and Quiz 9 will Wednesday December 2.
Only your best 8
out of 9 scores will be counted. Missing a quiz counts as a 0 score.
-
35% Final: scheduled for Monday December 7 from 8:00-11:00am.
You must earn a passing grade on the Final to pass the course.
Incompletes will be given only for medical and family
emergencies. In this event, you must request an incomplete from
the instructor before the end of the quarter (December 10).
Academic Integrity
All course work should be your own work.
You may consult with me, the TA and other students, verbally and possibly
with the use of a board. However you must be able to produce the solution
to a problem without any notes from this consultation.
It will be necessary to spend some time thinking about a problem
before consulting anyone.
You must cite
any materials (besides the text and course handouts) that you use
to solve the problems. Depending on the source you may not receive
full credit for the problem.
I take cheating very seriously. Any cases will be reported to
your college Provost and the School of Engineering and the assignment/quiz/final involved
will receive a 0 grade.
